Diamondback Elliptical Trainer	Diamondback Elliptical Trainer Diamondback Ellipticals come in three different grades and prices, ranging from $1100 to $2700. The 1260Ef is a commercial-grade Elliptical Trainer with a 325LB Capacity, 19" Stride and 13 user programs. There are at least 15 Positive user reviews on the 1260Ef. Eclipse Elliptical Review	Eclipse Elliptical Trainer Featured here, is the 1100HR/A, a very popular budget-priced Elliptical Trainer for just $449.99. A number of user reviews give the Eclipse 1100HR/A a combined, averate rating of 4-stars. Users report a very sleek design and smooth motion. The Stride length, however, is only 15" which would certainly be a concern for anyone over 5'7" Tall. Free Motion Elliptical Trainer	FreeMotion Elliptical Trainer FreeMotion Elliptical Trainers start at just $299.97. The E7.7 is a high-end, commercial grade trainer with 20-levels of resistance, a very natural motion path, and iPod input. HealthRider Elliptical Trainer	HealthRider Elliptical Trainer There is only one HealthRider Elliptical available, but it's an impressive machine. For $1,799, the H90 actually has many of the features and function of Elliptical Machines costing $1,000 more. The HealthRider H90 features 20 program modes, dual-grip heart rate monitor and an iFit card which allows you to play your iTunes songs while you exercise. The H90 has an impressive 325LB Capacity. Horizon Elliptical Trainer	Horizon Elliptical Trainer If you were wondering if you could find a highly rated Elliptical Trainer for under $1,000, Horizon is the right brand. The Horizon EX57 sells for just $499.00 and comes with a nice 18" Stride. For $799.00, the EX67 gives you roughly the same unit, but with more resistance levels, programs and a high-contrast LCD Screen. The best news of all is that there are numerous reviews on Horizon Elliptical Trainers. The EX57 has an average rating of 4.5 stars by over 19 users. Life Fitness Elliptical Trainer	Life Fitness The Life Fitness X1 Elliptical Trainer sells for $2,299 comes well equipped with speed, calorie-counter, pulse monitor and host of workout programs. The X3 for $2999 and the X8 for $3999 add more programs, better stability, motion fluidity and enhanced technology to increase the performance of your work-out. LifeCore Elliptical Trainer	LifeCore The Lifecore LC-985VG Elliptical Trainer is one of the most tested, highly rated Elliptical Trainers that you can buy for under $1,000. For $999.00, the LC-985VG Elliptical has Dual-Action Arm Handles, Fluid-Motion Slip Resistant pedals, and a colorful, easy to read LCD Screen. Precor Elliptical Trainer	Precor I'll make no bones about it. The Precor is my very favorite Elliptical Machine since the very first day I tried one at my local Gym. I may not speak for everyone, but Precor Ellipticals give me the most natural motion and solid, stable footing of any other trainer. Look at what users had to say about the Precor EFX-5.25, EFX-5.31, EFX-5.33. They give these machines 5-stars across the board. You will pay between $3300 and $4500 for units like these, but keep in mind; these are commercial grade Elliptical Trainers that can last you a life time. ProForm Elliptical Trainer	Proform If you want a decent, sturdy and reputable Elliptical Trainer for under $1,000, the ProForm is a pretty good contender. For under $700, the ProForm 850 is well equipped and very solid for a front-wheel drive exercise machine. The ProForm 850 comes with a music port, two interactive video games, 12-workout programs and supports a 275LB user. This particular unit gets a 4-Star satisfactory rating from those who have used and rated it. There are other units by ProForm in this price range, including the popular 10.0 ZE which has a unique folding base. Quantum Elliptical Trainer	Quantum There are a couple of Quantum Elliptical Trainers reviewed and on sale, here. The Q210-H has the very smallest footprint in the industry at just 44" long. This Quantum Elliptical may be short, but it is stock-solid and loaded with all of the features of a gym machine. For $3,199.00 you get a huge 21" Stride, 20 Resistance Levels, Heart Rate Programs, as well as Interval, Weight-Loss, Random Hill, Controlled, etc. - and a massive 400lb weight capacity. Reebok Elliptical Trainer	Reebok There are three different Reebok Elliptical Trainers listed and sold, here. Unfortunately, not many of them are reviewed. The price for a Reebok Elliptical Trainer ranges from $1,000 to $1,500 and they are fairly well equipped: The 1000-X for example, comes with an 18" Stride, 20-Workout Programs, iPod Deck, iFit, Cooling Fan, Pulse Monitor and information gauge that displays, time, calories burned, heart rate and resistance level. Schwinn Elliptical Trainer	Schwinn People love Schwinn Elliptical Trainers. There are three popular Schwinn Elliptical Models. The 420, 430 and 460. All three models have an average star rating of 4.5. The 430 is one of the most reviewed Elliptical Trainers on the market, with over 444 favorable user reviews. All three of these models have 16 user program modes and heart rate monitors. The 420 and 430 units have handle-bar grip heart rate monitors and 18" Strides. The 460 uses a chest strap monitor and has an adjustable stride length of up to 26" Schwin Elliptical Trainers use Magnetic Resistance. I've used Schwinn quite a bit and am very partial towards their reliability, stable-footing and natural arms and legs motion. Sole Elliptical Trainer	Sole Sole Elliptical Trainers are all popular and well rated. The E25, E35, E55 and E95 all are rated 4-stars and above. The E25, which sells for $999 features a large, 20" Stride, Hand Grip Pulse Monitor, 7 Programs, 16-Resistance levels, LCD Monitor and workout cooling fans. 18 different users have given the E25 an average rating of 4 stars. The sweet spot, though, has got to be the EL-355 Elliptical Trainer which features a 20" Stride, a 325lb capacity, hand-grip heart rate monitors, large-blue, backlit display and MP3 Player speakers and audio jack. If you want something a little heavier with more user ratings, the EL-5 is just $200 more and comes with a 350lb weight capacity, more programs and heavier, 30lb flywheel. Stamina Elliptical Trainer	Stamina Stamina is at the very low-end of the Elliptical Trainer chain. For just $279.00, the Stamina 1772 is a Magnetic Resistance Elliptical Trainer with Dual Action handlebars and heart rate monitor built-in to the stationary grips. Weslo Elliptical Trainer	Weslo Weslo, is the competitor of Stamina, making two different Elliptical Trainers that you can buy for under $350.00: The Momentum 220X for $339.00 and Momentum for $249.95. The Weslo also has Dual Grip Stationary Heart Monitor, but unlike the Stamina, the 220X does have an adequate sized, 18" Stride. If you're still wondering what kind of elliptical trainer is right for you, please take a look at our Elliptical Guide. I've found that the use of an elliptical machine is a highly personal preference. What works for some isn't what is best for others. My first elliptical machine ever used was a Precor model at my gym. These are very sturdy, expensive machines that seem to match my arm and leg motion. Surprisingly, not all elliptical users prefer the Precor. The most rigorous model I ever used was a Cybex. While the motion is smooth and robust, the Cybex worked on muscles in my legs and calves that I never knew I even had.  Take what your trainer at your fitness gym tells you with a grain of salt when it comes to choosing a home fitness machine. Remember, their livelihood depends on keeping you at the gym, not a home exercise routine. You don't have to spend $2,500 - $4,000 to get a smooth, well-built Elliptical Machine. Now, don't get me wrong: If you have that kind of money to spend, a commercial grade elliptical trainer will last you a lifetime. You'll never have to worry during those cold, snowy winter days or blistering hot sunny days, whether or not you're going to be able to get your exercise session in. And when you figure how much money you'll spend in dues at your fitness gym over the course of a life time, the commercial grade elliptical machine will save you money, too!
